WE ARE MATCHED with an expectant momma "D" and the baby girl is due late April/early May! Funny thing is I made this cute onesie with a sparkling mouse head on it and B said it was too cheesy to take a pic of it Before she came so- no pic of that but, This little one has been on our hearts since last April! ( and her birth mom too). More on this to come. Enjoy the picture show!   How they reacted when we told them that they didn't just get mickey/minnie PJS but that we were GOING to DISNEYLAND....   Matterhorn      gotta give Goofy Props, right?  The TREAT shop is always YUMMY!  Caramel apples are a FAV of our Family and those Goofy sour balls are too!  the toon coaster  YEP, He was in charge of the whole group- Great little Navigato...

My prayers changed . My heart grew and I began to inhale what i was trying to avoid- The Stuff Out of my Control! I embraced it a few months back and in my prayers, I asked for Strength to do what HE wanted me to do - not just what I wanted to do. I also felt inspired to start praying not only for all those involved in adoption and all birth parents to have support and love but, to specifically start praying for OUR birthmom! Yep, I said it. We have no idea who she is but, i felt that it was time. Each night, I'd sit in front of my Heater/Fireplace and pray for her before i went to bed. Sometimes I'd ask God to give her strength, comfort, support, avoid danger, help where she needed it and LOVE to surround her. Each night it was something different and what i felt she may need at that moment. It started to become really real to me. On the outside... I ran around spouting out to everyone that we are switching to foster care/ foster adoption. We have long since finished our tr...

whoa...

...Nellie!! So, i just went on a blog hopping- reading spree. And I've decided on a FEW things!!! Some in particular to this blog... 1. I want to gear this blog continually to the advocating for adoption side, regardless of our hopes for another child. 2. I want to FEATURE birth parent stories more often! 3. MORE ADOPTION EVENTS will be posted on our blog 4. I will NOT CHARGE money or make money by anything that is posted on my blog. I will select what the contents are and i will go on inspiration and faith as i head down this path. I don't need peoples money and I'm Happy to put my LOVE for adoption to better USE! I'm not trying to down play those who need to charge for ad space on their blogs/sites either- It's just not what I'm about or do i need it! ( thanks honey for all your hard work in real estate and taking care of us so well:) 5. I WANT TO GIVEAWAY more. My photography will be something I DONATE to those involved in adoption ( Especially Birth Moms) ...

Garden of The Gods

Image
We had way too much fun this day! Garden of the Gods is situated near Colorado Springs and it's a pretty cool park. Though it's not a huge place- it is so interesting to see how the layers of sediment have eroded over time- leaving these formations of sandstone and limestone. Us with Gpa Danny! some horses pulled up and we just had to pet them! The girls were just doing a "shake your booty" cheer and asked dad to give them a hug! It was funny and cute. And YES- one of our most important goals in life is to keep our daughters "off the Pole". Kind of a Vegas joke since we used to live there:) This is Jessica, our friend and a birth mother, watching and protecting Aria, who has her moments with her. They cuddle some days and sometimes Aria wants nothing to do with her. I chalk it up to terrible threes. And the fact that she's been a baby too long. Here these two crazies are obviously trying to hold up the rock:) So silly! My dad!!! Balance Rock ( well, i t...
