I wanted to SHARE Brina's letter to others who may be considering Adoption as a choice... It is astounding! She is so brave and so open and honest- everything we all need to hear! PLEASE READ THE FULL LETTER HERE Now... Here's a tid bit from it... "Sweet mama, you are so loved. Many of the women who came before you are thinking about you. We are praying for your peace. We know what this is like and how hard it is. No one but a birth mother knows this path. This path is hard and it's full of heartbreak, but it's also full of joy and beauty. You learn to love like you've never loved before. You learn what true selflessness is. You put this tiny person ahead of yourself so that they can thrive. You do whatever it takes to make sure that their life is the best it can be. For that, you are an AMAZING MOTHER. Don't let anyone tell you different." This is NOT MY article but, i will link you to it- SINCE IT's FABULOUS! and Insightful! this pic is of my friend , Miki, and her family! She has such blessings after such heartache! She lost 3 babies then held her niece for 3 weeks before the niece went to her forever family! She later had 3 kids and was told she would die if she had anymore! So, she hoped to adopt for 3+ years then, it happened and Shaylee ( in yellow) joined the family b/c of a selfless birth mother! Now, the Watt Family also waited 3 ish years and had a beautiful baby girl placed with them- only to be reunified with the Father who does'nt stay clean( but wanted the govt' handouts for this sweet girl). Then about a year later a loving couple who chose them placed their big BOY with them on FATHERS day weekend! It was an amazing day to say the least! Adoption blesses many lives, the child, the parents and the birth parents but, we must consider what we say and educate others as we LI...

Just Wonderful and emotional and I'm so grateful for Birth Parents who speak out and Embrace the choice they made. You are all SO STRONG. Thanks for saying something b/c many say nothing and hide in shame when we all know adoption is NOT shameful. It's Beautiful and Blessing to All involved! We had such a fantastic visit! When Phil and Dawn got into town we went out to one of our fav. restaurants, Los Dos Portrillos, for some fab. Mexican cuisine! The Next day we went Up to Evergreen area to a stocked Fishing pond and Had tons of fun catching BIG trout! Phil, Brandon and I helped Brielle & Aria reel them in while Dawn helped out with Gavin and putting bait on and such. We cranked in tons with this awesome bait too! Mini Man slept the majority of the time :) Brielle had the biggest catch of the day 18.5 inches and 3.5 lbs! This is not the biggest one but, it was a good sized one! Our Lovely Grandma Dawn! Here's one of the bigger one! aria squirmed a bit when it wiggled and flopped around! We had fun cleaning them and then Phil and Brandon cooked them up well that night! P & D were able to come through on the way back too! We already miss them!

I hate it when ALL birth fathers get a bad rap. Even though every adoption and birth parent situation is different- without BF's - OUR KIDS WOULDN'T BE HERE! And more & more, you see bf's supporting adoption plans and/or building relationships with the adoptive families! It's no surprise to me that they'd want to have some involvement. If I was in their shoes, I'd want the same. Take a look at Baby Darling's Birth Father ! Ben is a STUD! And we are all human with Natural, deep feelings! So, when we had the opportunity, granted by Jessica, to meet DUSTIN , we were thrilled & scared to explore it! So, during the National FSA conference we went on our lunch break and ditched the Birth father panel to meet Gavin's own birth father in the Layton Mall! Even though I had never met him, I automatically felt a motherly/sisterly love for this young man who had played a part in Gavin's existence. Though it be by accident to some- We all...

busy but great! Grandma Betty is up for a visit and I'm finishing up client photos and gaining some sort of new-fangled schedule to my life. I'm figuring out what i can do without and trimming the fat out of my life:) SO, bare with me... I will post more soon but , now i can only post at 6am (when i should be working out) or at night around 9-10 when kids are all asleep. But, I will not give up the blog entirely! Having THREE is so much more than two! Some may say we are crazy but we want 6 ish kids and LOTS of love and birth parents aplenty, I'm sure! Who knows how our next child will come into our family but, we are along for the ride that God has us on! P.S. I'm thanking Him everyday for our current miracles!
