Image
I know it has taken me forever to post on Hawaii but, Here it goes... WE HAD A BLAST and are ready to buy a second home there in the coming years but, first we have to visit Maui since we have not been there yet. This trip was to the BIG ISLAND- the island of Hawaii!  Our view from our balcony/patio room  HAPUNA BEACH  Black Sand Beach with a large amount of seat Turtles too! Our Valentine's Dates :)  It was so fun taking n our girls and more pics and hopefully some videos to come! It was here that we were contacted by our agency about a potential adoption situation ~ An expectant mom had looked at our book and was interested in having a convo /skype call with us. We weren't even in Hawaii for 24 hours when we read the email.  NOW, we are matched and 1-2 weeks or less away from welcoming a tiny sweet Wahine into our Ohana! God is Good!

Summer is in FULL swing and in a few days CAMPS and lessons start up! We had a wonderful vacation ( which I will post about soon) and the kids are loving the gorgeous weather here in Evergreen. Today they decided to play in the tiny creek and have a mud fight!!! ( followed by a hose down). The fun camps ahead are Adventure camp, Mad science- sleuth/ detective camp/ Archery lessons for both girls/ swim lessons and gymnastics for Gavin! I'm excited and can't wait to see what these sweet children learn. Here's some updated pics from the wedding of the kids ( more about the wedding to come!) BRIELLE SLADE    GAVIN     ARIA

B picked a Zebra, blues and yellows theme for her GLAM party! We Had so much fun having a Glamorous Party for Brielle. We decorated ( which she loves to do) found cute ribbons and zebra stuff over the last 6 months and had fun putting together goody bags! My kids think parties are boring without GOODY BAGS ( tee hee- once Aria asked if our adult friends party was going to have a pinata and goody bags and when we said no she replied "WHAT KINDA PARTY IS THAT GOING TO BE THEN!" it was hilarious! The bags had lip gloss , some treats and a mini cosmetics bag! Of course we played mother May I? and had stations for bow making, getting fingernails painted and ... Getting the Makeup done with a Princess mirror and a cute artist too! THIS YEAR is a year of cupcakes.. easy for me and Brielle wanted ones with her colors:) All the girls had a great time and everyone left with smiles and bows and fun memories! It was a nice p...

MANners!

Being a mom of boys if FAR more exhausting than it has been when my girls were small. Let's be real here for a moment and compare... Girls only once touched their own poo. Gman- has taken off his own diaper more than i can count on all appendages and played in his feces! Girls hardly ate their foods or finished everything on their plates GMan- CANNOT eat enough. He could finish 2-3 servings, if i let him. Girls want to Dance around things and hop from here and there Gman- Bulldozes into you and anything he can! The differences are astounding and it has nothing to do with wether my kids come from my body or their birth momma's tummy. Boys are rough and tough and yet they are cuddly mommas boys. Im so in LOVE with my big boys and so happy to be their momma! Gavin is amazed and so animated about everything wether its a airplane or a bug flying around!   He can jump and gallop and kiss and hug just about anyone. Slade is rolling around, starting to get up and pus...

Not My Will but Thine be Done!

Image
Yep, I've said time after time that I chose to be on God's rollercoaster on how our family is to come to us! I've consigned my will over to Him who knows greater than me, than anyone of what we need when we need it! So, I'm happily (and yet with reservation) announcing that I'm Pregnant!!! Yep about 12 weeks( this friday) and feeling sick and nauseaous! It's horribly good! I cannot tell you how shocked i was considering 5 of my past 6 pregnancies have ended in miscarriage around 4-6 weeks and one at 13.5 weeks! I've been married 10 years this July and i guess the Lord wants this pregnancy to succeed but, I'm still nervous. I think once the baby is here- i will be done being nervous! In some ways having infertility issues and then getting pregnant is like adoption- you just don't believe its happening until it finally does happen! You trick your mind into thinking all kinds of things on why it wont happen then are pleasantly surprised when it does...
