So... a while ago i bought this table- solid wood chunky curvy base for 34.00 Then I found 4 chairs on craigslist and bought them for 60. They were also solid wood and in pretty sad shape. Although the wood, design and look was what i was going for- they need joint repairs. That cost me 80.for someone to FIX them up! Then, i need some paint- 28.00 for the top coats and 8. for primer 4 for rollers... total project 214. ( i think that's a steal) Did i mention everything is SOLID WOOD- no veneers! And I Got exactly what i wanted in the end... A black, distressed kitchen table and chairs. I don't have to worry about if the kids beat it up a bit b/c it's solid and it's distressed! Works for me! Even though it took some man hours it turned out awesome! So glad i waited to find the right stuff and jumped at the opportunity when i found these things!

The rest are either part time, work from home or full time working mothers! So if you are looking for a couple who are open to adopting outside their own race, want an open relationship with birth parents and the M...

To Our Thanksgiving Visit with The Birth Family:) This is the Majority of Kara's Family. Great, Great Grandma couldn't make it that night! Dawn and Phil are Kara's Parents in the middle with the girls and Jr.! They are Grandma Dawn and Grandpa Phil to us now:) You can never have too much love! Grandpa Phil is such an amazing Man and great with all his Grand kids. Aria just LOVES getting tickled! And her laugh is addicting too! Brielle's Birth family is so amazing. I was talking with Dawn ( below) the other night and she said " You know , we really adopted you guys when you adopted Brielle!" We honestly feel like family and our love for them is just as strong as the love we have for our families- just different b/c they chose us and we chose them! We LOVE open adoption! Aria tries to get GPA PHIL back and tries to tickle him! It's so funny how little kids think they know how to tickle adults. So cute! Kara ( Brielle's tummy momma) and her baby boy...

On My LONG TIME friends Jake And Traci ... I grew up with BOTH of these awesome parents. Traci had fun parties at her house and id choir with me and so did Jake. Jake and his brother were like brothers to me. We would GOOF off all the time and were dance partners for some choir productions like the song " Farmer Tan" or when we sang Valentine Grams to teachers and people's significant others. We sang to one of our teachers who had adopted 2 children. I remember walking into the house and seeing these beautiful kids and feeling the sweet spirit of adoption and love in their family, with Jake. Who would have known it would be part of both our lives... Please check out this family who has been through h*ll and back when it comes to life challenges with adoption. ( to put it mildly) They are so deserving and TONS of FUN to be around. read on ... Hopefully this will be their year!

A year or so later after a horrible experience with a miscarriage, they turned to the Lord and found that Adoption would be How they are to grow their family. They are LOVING, Kind, FUN and Witty parents who have deep relationships and affection for all who know them. Mitzi is a GREAT mother and They have been waiting more than 3 years for the chance to adopt. Please Check them out full on their profile . We are all rooting that this will be the year for your family!

...here in CO! And we are having such fun with all the snow !!! Except when we are talking about my inexperienced driving skills! Yep, the truth is coming out folks ! I SLID on the ice and my tires hit the curb. It was super scary but, i was going slow enough no major damage happened. I busted our wheel and baring and that's about it and it took 2 weeks to get that all fixed ! I thankfully have many great friends who lent us their extra car while all the repairs were being made. ( em and trev) So, the fun stuff now... We LOVE to sled and make snow angels and anything we can do in the snow! Emily and i even jumped on the tramp with 6 inches of snow on it! It was chilly but, hilarious!!! Today was the 2nd REAL snowfall this winter and now that my Navigator is back, i plan on driving like a granny and keep my 4WD on!!! I love how the snow makes everything so clean and bright. It's so romantic, peaceful, heavenly and freakin' freezing . Everyone tells me ther...

Aquarium trip

we had such a blast here! the sea creatures were amazing! uncle Todd was such a HAM! And Brielle Loved to size up the big fish ! Nemo even had his own display area! ( looks like a screen saver, right?) And the girls got to pet a real live tiger ( at least that what it looks like) This big kitty loved Aria and wanted to play but, she refused him! The Mermaids put on a great show and the girls were mesmerized ! This shark was really smitten with these 2 girls! I loved the silver metallic fish ( reminded me of all the cute handbags out right now) Aria was instructing Brielle on how to plug her nose in case she wanted to go in! This coral was breath-taking ( again- looks like a screen saver) The big Cat keep staring me down . I have no idea why? Maybe it was b/c i smelled like steak? ( not really) The Bubble dome thing was really cool. Brielle was about ready to jump in this tank . Aria loved the Aquarium and saying Hello to all the creatures. It was fun had by all!
