so some cool adoption stuff

Image
that has happened in the last  month or so... first off- my Mother in laws FB post " Today I am thankful for two women who chose adoption over abortion. I don't know if they could possibly ever know the joy that their choice brought me and my husband. It is, in my eyes, one of the most selfless acts of love that could ever be shown. I will be forever thankful and hold a special place for you in my heart! Two other women made that same choice which brought me two of my grandchildren. You also have a special place in my heart! Thank you all!" I too agree with everything she said! I'm one lucky lady/momma in many, many ways b/c of the Miracle of Adoption! A couple weeks Back... i was honored to take pics of a sweet tiny girl that a friend of mine had and she and her boyfriend had chosen to place her with an adorable couple down south. I was able to meet them too. Today someone who was visiting remembered when i was running the FSA Region here and stopped ...

Adoption Twinning

Image
I.E. Artificial Twinning.... Yep, I read an article on this a while back... HERE And As for me, I've never been one to SEEK out having twins an any fashion. My sister has twin boys, who are 4 yrs old now, and i think how hard it was/is for her. BUT, I also think HOW AWESOME to have a built in playmate and best bud! I also know that the first year will be tough but, who cares- it's a few years and LOVE is forever. So, I'd get a few extra bags under my eyes or a few wrinkles will deepen. So, will the parts of our heart- have a deeper love! Every child deserves a loving father and mother- 2 parents that can serve, live and love them in a comfortable home. Parents should never resent a child, feel obligated or like they made a mistake by either adopting or getting pregnant. A child is NOT a toy, a meal ticket, a write-off, a burden, a bargaining piece in someone's messed up relationship and so forth. Children are precious however and whenever they come into your family! Our Girls

Image
Have been so cute lately! Not that they aren't cute everyday but, yesterday on the way to the park, Brielle says to Aria: God loves everyone, Aria! A: Not if you are a mean guy! B: Yes, He loves everyone- Even if you are mean and stinky! ME: what is the difference how Heavenly Father rewards us though, girls? B: Um... We Get things that are good and we don't go to time out! A: We get to go to the park if we clean up. Me: God rewards those with Blessings who obey and live His commandments! Just like i reward you with something Fun if you obey what i ask of You! They have been sharing a lot lately and are besties! It's way more than cute! They love to bike around the block too and yesterday- we got a tab burned! We will live though! My train of thought and the Girls convo leads me to this: God rewards/ blesses those who live his commandments- even in the adoption world! Does that mean b/c you have to be perfect to adopt? NO. But, you may want to work on what's holding y...

Falling to Pieces

Image
Last night i had a dream... I was in the hospital room and we were there to see if Aria had swallowed something. The Dr. said he saw my stomach moving and wanted to do an ultrasound. The nurses all gathered around me and one said they could here 3 heart beats-mine and 2 babies. Aria was FINE and all the attention was turned to me now ( DREAMS ARE PRETTY ONE SIDED AND SELFISH USUALLY) . Well, the Dr. was taking a long time and i asked for a PT before he came. I didn't want to be disappointed like that again and i was lean and not looking prego. I get the test and Pee and it's PURPLE lines , not pink or blue! The nurses tell me it means multiples!!! Everyone was happy. I was ready for the dream to end b/c i figured out in my dream that it wasn't real and started waiting for the KICK . {enter the song FALLING to PIECES} I hear the music in the dream i know it's time to wake up now but, this dream feels so real and being a mommy again is what i desire most so, i wasn...

on Thayne and Annie this exciting couple has had such a full life so far but are missing the ULTIMATE experience of being parents! I also met them at the Temple Night and Dinner and both are so fun. Thayne Cracks me up and both have the feel of someone you already know. They are REAL and fun-loving and have so much to offer a sweet child. Can't wait to chill with them some more as well! Annie is looking forward to serving in FSA here as well!

...To have Kara ( Brielle's Birthmom) and her son, JR., here a few weeks back. Here's a few cute pics of the little man! We are open with Brielle about who Jr. is and of course about who Kara is to her! She call Jr. Her Birth brother. He is technically her half birth brother but, we call him family ! Being around a tiny boy gets us excite for the hopes of a son or another daughter. Babies are awesome and we can only imagine HOW COOL our next child will be. And how amazing and fun our future birth family will be too! Here's hoping!
